IT looks like the white stuff is set to return later today as the Met Office has issued a weather warning for parts of the region including County Durham and parts of Teesside.
A Yellow weather warning for snow has been put in place as heavy snow is forecast to fall throughout the day in Teesdale, Cleveland, the Dales and the North York Moors.
Valid until 2pm on Friday (February 28), the Met Office is warning that travel disruption is likely as temperatures on the ground drop to around 2 degrees.
Yesterday, weather warnings for the weekend were issued warning residents across the North of England that strong winds were expected until Sunday.
Currently there are no further weather warnings for snow in place for the rest of the week.
