A 53-YEAR-old Carlisle man has admitted assaulting two paramedics.
Malcolm Andrew McLeod assaulted the two women in Carlisle on December 12 last year, the city’s Rickergate court heard.
He admitted two charges of common assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Magistrates imposed a community order, which includes an eight week electronically monitored overnight curfew, to run from 8pm to 6am the following morning.
He must also participate in 10 days of rehabilitation with the Probation Service.
McLeod, of Orchard Street, Carlisle, must also pay each of his victims £50 compensation, as well as £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
