POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery in Teesside.
A man is reported to have been riding a black bicycle in Middlesbrough when he approached a 23-year-old victim and attempted to take his belongings.
The incident occurred on Princes Road, near to the junction of Linthorpe Road, Middlesbrough at about 4am on Monday, February 3.
Police say victim suffered minor leg injuries as as result.
Police put out an appeal yesterday to try and trace the suspect, who is described as being a white male, around 5 foot 8 tall, with short blonde hair and stubble.
He was described as being his mid-20s.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact DC Andrew Yau on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference number 019701.
