CLEVELAND Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Middlesbrough, where a 76-year-old man suffered facial injures.
The indicent took place around 11:40pm on Sunday, February 2.
It was reported that an unknown male approached the 76-year-old on a bicycle and attempted to take belongings from his pockets.
The victim went to James Cook University Hospital after falling down, resulting in face injuries. He has since been released.
