A TEENAGER and two men have been arrested after a incident involving two crashed vehicles and reports of a possible armed gang in Stockton.

Police were called to a report of a group of men in possibly in possession of weapons in Darlington Lane at around 9:50pm yesterday.

It is thought they had been travelling in a Volkswagen Caddy, which had been involved in a collision with a Mercedes Benz.

A 16-year-old boy and two men, aged 28 and 32 have now been been arrested on suspicion of affray.

All three are in police custody. 

Police searches have been taking place in the area today. 

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Police were called to a report of a group of males in possibly in possession of weapons on Darlington Lane at around 9:50pm last night, Tuesday 11th February.

"Officers believe that the men had been travelling in a Volkswagen Caddy, which had been involved in a collision with a Mercedes Benz."

A 16-year-old boy and two men, aged 28 and 32 have been arrested on suspicion of affray and are in police custody.

No-one was injured in the incident.
