A £10,000 reward has been offered for any information relating to the alleged murder of dad-of-two Henwand Ali Hussain.

The 30-year-old was found dead at a property in Charterhouse Street, Hartlepool, on Sunday, September 15 last year.

His family have now shared a new picture of the dad to try and get people to come forward.

The latest picture shared by his family is of him smiling as he sits in his car.

Crimestoppers – the independent charity that gives people the power to speak up anonymously and stop crime – has renewed its £10,000 reward to anyone who contacts them with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the alleged murder of Hemwand Ali Hussain.

Four men have already been charged in connection with the alleged murder of Mr Hussain, who had suffered a gunshot wound. Their trial date is yet to be confirmed.

Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Robinson, said: “Mr Hussain was found dead in a property in Charterhouse Street, Hartlepool and had suffered a gunshot wound.

“He was a father-of-two who had served in the Kurdish military."

DCI Robinson added: “We also continue to search for two further men, of unknown identity, who we believe can help us with our enquiries. They are a man believed to be in his 40s – who was a passenger in a silver Mercedes E Class – and a man, thought to be in his 20s, who is pictured wearing a grey ‘Fila’ brand sweatshirt and dark trousers.

“We want to re-appeal to anyone who believes they have information which could help our investigation to get in touch.”

Ruth McNee, regional manager at the charity Crimestoppers, said: “Anyone who wants to say what they know without speaking directly to the authorities can use our charity’s unique service. We take crime information from people every day and we make a huge difference by helping to keep communities safe thanks to information we receive. Everyone who contacts us stays 100 per cent anonymous. Always.

“Even if your information may seem insignificant, it could make all the difference. If you would like to speak to us anonymously our UK Contact Centre is open 24/7 on 0800 555 111 or you can use our anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. We cannot trace your call or see your IP address.”
