A dyspraxia support group is arranging regular meet-ups for people with the condition.

Dyspraxia Support Group Teesside deliver two groups tailored to the needs of both adults, parents and children.

The project runs under the umbrella of Roseberry Community Consortium, a local charity helping disadvantaged groups of young people across the Teesside region.

The group offers free workshops including, handwriting, job support and IT and arrange social activities, including day trips and sporting activities, after school and weekend clubs, dancing, crafts, board games and professional support by inviting experts to give helpful advice.

The sessions are run at Laurel House in Stockton on Tees.

The charity is aiming to be the top resource in the North East region helping and supporting dyspraxic individuals, due to the lack of support people with the condition.

The group gives people the opportunity for service users to meet and share their experiences, discuss problems they may be having and ways to overcome barriers.
