A MAN has appeared in court following an alleged stabbing in Redcar.
Adam Matson, from Redcar, was charged with assault and possession of a bladed article in connection with the incident, which happened in Langthwaite Walk on Thursday, February 6.
Police were called to Langthwaite Walk at about 4.30pm to reports of a stabbing.
A man is believed to have suffered non-threatening injuries.
Mr Matson, 33, of Jamison Avenue, appeared at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Teesside Crown Court on March 6.
