POLICE have issued a warning to youngsters following a spate of antisocial behaviour at a medical centre.

Officers in Peterlee said they were aware of several incidents in and around the William Brown Medical Centre, on Manor Way.

Youths are known to be aggressive to staff and patients and were recently caught trying to steal from the medical centre.

The youths struck whilst a staff member attended to one of the youngsters who had a bloody nose.

A spokesperson from the neighbourhood policing team said: "Police are now in possession of CCTV images which clearly show the people involved and are working to identify those responsible. You can expect a knock on the door in the very near future if you have been involved.

"Please be aware that if your child has been involved then the centre may look to remove them and potentially parents from patient lists as this type of behaviour is totally unacceptable."
