HUNDREDS of cannabis plants worth about half a million pounds have been discovered at a residential property near Hartlepool.
The 478 plants were found at the house in The Green, Seaton Carew yesterday.
Following the discovery, police arrested a 22-year-old man.
Hoang Huy Dang, of no-fixed-abode, has been charged with production of a class B drug and appeared at Teesside Crown Court today.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Teesside Crown Court on March 5.
