A GROUP of teenagers have been sighted throwing eggs at homes over the space of a week prompting police to investigate.

Between 8pm and 10.30pm on both Saturday (January 25) and Friday (January 31), a group of teenagers were seen vandalising homes in Great Ayton in North Yorkshire.

The group, reported to be made up of two teenage girls and three teenage boys, are alleged to have thrown eggs at homes in Guisborough Road, Arthur Street and Newton Road.

Police are now urging members of the public and parents of the children concerned to contact the force on the non-emergency number 101, quoting 12200014365.
