OFFICERS are investigating after member of staff was racially abused at a Metro station.
The incident occurred shortly after 8.30pm on December 17, at Four Lane Ends Metro and Bus Station Interchange in Newcastle
It was reported that after a small group of people had been escorted off a train one of the young man involved then yelled racially abusive language at a member of staff before indecently exposing himself in front of the victim.
The suspect is described as a white man, young, medium build with short ginger hair and was wearing a red hoody and jeans.
The incident is being treated as a hate crime and officers are now appealing to the public for any witnesses to come forward.
