A 74-YEAR-OLD woman is due to appear before a court later this month after a biker was seriously hurt in a crash.
Rosemary Staddon-Smith, who is 74, was issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates' Court for an offence of driving without due care and attention after an incident on Sunday, September 15 last year.
Police were called to Bere Road in Wareham, near the entrance of the Sika trail, at around 10.25am after a collision involving a lack Volkswagen Golf and a black Velocette motorcycle.
The biker, a man aged in his 70s from the Wareham area, suffered serious injuries.
Staddon-Smith, of Dorchester, is due to appear at court next week.
