A MAN has been taken to hospital with a suspected neck injury after a three car crash.

Police were called to reports of a collision on Canal Road, near its junction with Bolton Lane, at about 9:05am this morning.

There were three cars involved - a black Ford C-Max, a black Mercedes A180 and a black Renault Twingo.

One male was taken to hospital with a suspected neck injury, according to a police spokesperson.

Two vehicles needed to be recovered as they were not drivable.

A witness said it took him at least 10 minutes to get past the blockage this morning.

They said: "There's delays all the way back to the end of Canal Road and Valley Road, heading into Shipley.

"There's also delays all the way back to Tesco on the other side of the road."
