POLICE found two dogs in a "poor state" when executing a drugs warrant.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Bradford East team visited an address in the West Bowling area, on Thursday morning.
A quantity of class B drugs and suspected class A drugs were recovered.
While at the property, officers discovered two dogs.
They were in a "poor state" and lacked food, water and space.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers were extremely concerned for their welfare."
The dogs were subsequently seized.
The RSPCA have taken the two animals in for emergency medical assessments.
The police spokesperson said: "This action was taken as a direct result of concern expressed by local residents.
"Please continue to provide intelligence for us to act upon."
