THE following cases were among those heard at Teesside Magistrates’ Court during the last week.

EDWARD GALVIN, 29, of Stanton Street, Stockton, admitted driving a vehicle without a licence. He was made to pay a £40 fine, costs of £85 and vehicle excise back duty of £26.67.

STEPHEN BOTHAM, 52, of Claypit Way, Barlbrough, pleaded guilty to using abusive or threatening words or behaviour in Hartlepool. He was made to pay a £249 fine, a victim surcharge of £32 and £200 costs to Crown Prosecution Service.

FINLAY HARRY WILLIAM HALL, 19, of Hebron Road, Middlesbrough, admitted driving under the influence of alcohol and without appropriate license or insurance. He was ordered to pay two £120 fines, £32 victim surcharge, £85 costs to Crown Prosecution Service. He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 36 months.

RILEY SMITHSON, 18, of Saltview Terrace, Middlesbrough, admitted to being in the yard of Bulk Haul International with a purpose to steal. He was made of pay £21 victim surcharge and £85 costs to Crown Prosecution Service.

JAMIE THOMAS, 21, of Woodhouse Road, Guisborough, admitted to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was made to pay a victim surcharge of £21 and £85 costs to Crown Prosecution Service.

PATRICIA WILSON, 37, of Dent Street, Hartlepool, pleaded guilty to stealing goods to the value of £20 from Alice House Hospice. She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £21 and £200 to Crown Prosecution Service.

DAVID BURTON, 67, of Nitrovit Row, Thirsk, pleaded guilty to driving while over the alcohol limit. He was ordered to pay a £120 fine, a victim surcharge of £32 and £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service. He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

MICHAL FRANCISZEK KOZIEJOWSKI, 26, of High Street, Eston, Middlesbrough, pleaded to driving while under the influence of drugs, driving without an appropriate licence and to having possession of crack cocaine and cannabis. He was fined £200, made to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service. He was also disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.

ALLAN NORTHEND, 56, of Eskmill, Castleton, admitted driving through Billingham while exceeding the alcohol limit. He was fined £500, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £50 and £85. He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 14 months.

JAY FRANCIS CURRY, 31, of Whitley Road, Thornaby, admitted to drink driving in Ingleby Barwick. He was fined £120, with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months.

MARTIN HENRY DOUGAN, 37, of Briar Road, Thornaby, admitted to two occasions of driving while under the influence of drugs. He was fined £203, with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from holding a licence for 42 months.

PETER JAMES LAX, 36, of Poppy Lane, Shotton Colliery, admitted to drink driving in Hartlepool. He was fined £316, with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from holding a licence for 17 months.

CRAIG MARRON, 29, of Hauxhead Road, Redcar, admitted to driving without due care and attention. He was fined £80, with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. He was disqualified from driving for six months.

MAREK PETER, 30, of Falkland Street, Middlesbrough, admitted to having cannabis in his possession. He was given a six month conditional discharge from prison and ordered to pay a £21 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

CRAIG ADDISON, 41, of Hartington Road, Stockton, admitted to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He also admitted to carrying a multi-tool knife. He was given a 26 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He was also required to undergo a drug rehabilitation course. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £122 and £85 court costs.

THEA LAYLA HADDOUCHE, 21, of Willow Sage Court, Stockton, admitted to drink driving. She was fined £200 with a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Her licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

JONATHAN RUMIS, 24, of Tunstall Avenue, Billingham, admitted to driving whilst disqualified, without insurance, or driving licence. He was sent to prison for 20 weeks, and pay a victim surcharge of £122.

MARK ANTHONY DISMORE, 33, of Marton Road, Middlesbrough, admitted to failing to co-operate with a breath test. He was fined £80, £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

NATHAN EDWARD BARLEY, 24, of Derwent Park, Loftus, admitted driving without due care and attention. He was fined £80, £32 surcharge and £85 costs.
