POLICE have released CCTV footage from outside a nightclub following the attempted murder of a 43-year-old man.

The incident, which happened in Little Holtby near Northallerton, left a man suffering critical injuries on Sunday, December 1.

Prompting an attempted murder investigation, police said they had identified a number of individuals who may hold 'vital' information.

Earlier this week, CCTV from outside Club Amadeus in Northallerton showing a number of people police wish to speak was released.

Shortly after the incident, a 25-year-old man from Catterick Garrison was charged with the attempted murder and appeared in court.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "The CCTV images are from outside Club Amadeus in Northallerton from around 2.30am on 1st December 2019.

"North Yorkshire Police is appealing to anyone who can identify the individuals in the CCTV images to call 101 and ask for DC 1931 Quita Passmore or Northallerton CID on 10609 643195.
