Craig Dixon will New Year behind bars
A MAN will see in the New Year behind bars after appearing in court charged with a string of offences over the Christmas holidays.
Craig Dixon, 34, of no fixed abode, was arrested in connection with a number of incidents in Peterlee during the last few days.
Earlier today he appeared before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court charged with affray, theft, handling stolen goods and possession of a sharp pointed article.
He was remanded in custody until next month when he will appear before Durham Crown Court.
