POLICE investigating the theft of bank cards and jewellery are trying to trace this man.
Shortly before 11pm, on November 17, officers were called to an address on Woodside in Sunderland after an elderly woman was burgled.
Among the items stolen included a gold box chain, a diamond and emerald ring and an old brass jewellery box from the 1920s.
Bank cards were also taken from the address, which were used at various locations in the Houghton-le-Spring and Hetton-le-Hole areas shortly after.
The man in the picture was in the same location as when one of the stolen cards was used and could have information that can assist detectives with their enquiries.
To help call police on 101.
