POLICE searching for a wanted man who is thought to be in the Durham or Sunderland area have appealed to the public for information.
Officers from Northumbria Police are keen to locate Alan Adamson, of Hetton-le-Hole, who is wanted in connection with a theft of a motor vehicle on Edward Street which was reported on November 25.
Efforts have been ongoing to locate 26-year-old Adamson with a number of addresses searched.
Now police have asked members of the community who know his whereabouts or who have recently seen him to come forward with information.
It is believed that Adamson has been residing in the Sunderland or Durham area.
Adamson, or anyone who believes they may have seen him, is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 quoting reference 553 251119.
