Cases heard by Teesside Magistrates' Court this week include:

GEORGE AGODUL ATOUT, 33, of Portman Street, Middlesbrough, admitted to damaging a door and a television. He was fined £187 and ordered to pay compensation of £350.

DARREN PAUL BARKER, 38, of High Street, Redcar, admitted to trespassing and theft of a CCTV system and cash of unknown value. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks, running consecutively to a previous 12 week sentence imposed on November 21, and he will serve 24 weeks overall. He was also ordered to pay £100 compensation.

AARON LEE GRAY, 30, of Marlborough Court, Skelton, admitted to stealing perfume and alcohol, and also to failing to surrender to Teesside Magistrates' Court. He was ordered to comply with a drug rehabilitation treatment. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £20 and £85 court costs.

CHLOE LOUISE BENNETT, 37, of Skripka Drive, Billingham, admitted to driving while under the influence of alcohol, with 69 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. She was fined £133, with a £32 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. She was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

FAYE HODGES, 29, of Windermere Road, Stockton-on-Tees, admitted to drink driving, with 40 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. She was fined £300, with a £32 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. She was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

SHANE MATTHEW PEEBLES, 34, of Hambleton View, Thirsk, admitted to possessing an amount of cannabis, and to damaging a police cell. He was ordered to wear a curfew tag for 28 days and fined £100.

ALAND RASULI, 24, of St Peter's Road, Stockton-on-Tees, admitted to driving without insurance or a licence. He was fined £100, with a £32 victim surcharge. He was disqualified from holding a licence for six months.

MICHAEL REED, 35, of Sheriff Street, Hartlepool, admitted to having an offensive weapon, Nunchucks, in his possession. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge from prison, and ordered to pay a £21 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

KYLE SMALL, 26, of Roxby Close, Stockton-on-Tees, admitted to driving without valid licence or insurance, and to possession of cannabis. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points and he was fined £100. He was also ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

GEOFFREY EDMUND VANES, 34, of Chatham Road, Hartlepool, admitted to driving without valid licence and insurance, and without due care and attention, at Greenwood Road, Billingham. He was fined £100, with a £32 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

KENNETH WATSON, 39, of High Street, Lingdale, Saltburn, admitted to damaging a fence, and to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. He was given a 12 month conditional discharge from prison, and ordered to pay £50 compensation. He was also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

TREVOR DAVID WATSON, 46, of Tarring Street, Stockton-on-Tees, admitted to driving without valid licence and insurance, and to failing to provide a breath specimen when requested by police. He was ordered to wear an electronic curfew tag for six weeks, and to pay a victim surcharge of £90. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months.

STEPHEN LEE ALLISON, 43, of Ibrox Close, Hartlepool, admitted to 14 counts of thefts of perfume in Hartlepool. He was sentenced to nine months in prison and ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge.

THOMAS CRUTCHLEY. 36, of Marshall Avenue, Middlesbrough, admitted to assaulting a police officer, and to being drunk and disorderly. He was fined £100, and ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

THOMAS WINTER, 27, of Hereford Road, Guisborough, admitting to stealing tools to the value of £34.50 at B&Q in South Bank, Middlesbrough. He was fined £133, with a £32 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs.

INGRIDA PETOVA - BALZAZOVA, 27, of Marton Road, Middlesbrough, admitted to watching television without a licence. She was fined £60, with a £30 victim surcharge, and £120 court costs.

STUART GRAHAM WINWOOD, 48, of Eamont Gardens, Hartlepool, admitted to speedingin excess of 30 mph in a 30 mph zone. He was fined £153, with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. His licence has been endorsed with three penalty points.

JAMES WANLEY, 22, of Caithness Road, Hartlepool, admitted to theft of hair straighteners and electric shavers in Wolverhampton, and to failing to attend court in the town. He was given a six month conditional discharge, fined £80, and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

MICHAEL ANTHONY SWAN, 40, of Park Road South, Middlesbrough, admitted to theft at Morrisons, Middlesbrough. He given a four week prison sentence, suspended for six months.He was ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

ANDREW COLIN USHER, 55, of Barbara Mann Court, Hartlepool, admitted to six counts of wasting police time via calls and text messages, and for breaking previous community orders. He was given a four month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He was ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He was required to attend an alcohol dependency treatment course.
