A MOBILITY scooter which was a 'lifeline' to its 79-year-old owner has been stolen.
The scooter was last seen outside a house on Kirkham Road, Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, at about 10am on Wednesday. It is believed to have been stolen between then and 9am yesterday.
Officers are appealing for help to trace the stolen scooter. The man's daughter described it as his 'lifeline' as it helps him to get around.
Anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around Kirkham Road or anyone who may know the whereabouts of the scooter, is asked to contact PC Robert Smith from Cleveland Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 203541.
