A SHOP has been broken into for the fifth time in as many weeks.
Police were called shortly before midnight on Sunday to reports of a burglary at the Co-op, in Sedgefield.
It is believed the suspects broke through the front door and removed alcohol and gift sets before making off in a vehicle.
A spokeswoman for Durham police said officers are working hard to identify the suspects and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
The store was previously targeted by burglars on October 22, November 10, November 15 and November 21.
Anyone with information is urged to call Durham Constabulary on 101 quoting incident number 435 of November 24.
