FAMILIES can delight in the festive lights as they embark on a journey of discovery to meet the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts and, of course, Alice on their magical trip.
The spectacular Alice in Winterland display at Lightwater Valley this Christmas, features hundreds of giant illuminated sculptures illustrating stories from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass tales.
The colourful features include a giant chess board, Mad Hatter's tea party, a four-metre tall Alice lantern, a luminous trail and glowing garden among the other attractions.
