NORTHALLERTON Heating Centre has been charged with corporate manslaughter after a 24-year-old died following a fall while working at a property near Ripon.
And a 58-year-old Northallerton man, a partner in the business, is due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates Court this Thursday charged with failing to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of all his employees.
Both allegations relate to an incident on 5 April 2018 when Luke Crocher, an employee of the business, died following a fall while working at a property in the village of Bishop Monkton, near Ripon.
