TRAIN services between Saltburn and Bishop Auckland are experiencing disruptioon this morning.
The 7.09am departure from Bishop Auckland, which was due at Saltburn at 8.33am, was cancelled due to the train breaking down.
This is resulted in the cancellation of the 8.44am return journey, which included stops at Redcar, Middlebrough, Thornaby, Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Shildon and Bishop Auckland.
Operators Northern Railway plan to reinstate the 10.11am service but it will not call at Bishop Auckland, Shildon, Newton Aycliffe, Heighington, North Road, Darlington, Dinsdale, Allens West, Eaglescliffe and Thornaby. It will start at 11.07 in Middlesbrough and call at South Bank, Redcar Central, Redcar East, Longbeck, Marske and arrive at Saltburn at 11.34am.
