A 55-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' after being hit by a car in Middlesbrough.
Cleveland Police are now appealing for information following the collision, which involved a Peugeot 207 on Ormesby Road, close to Hommerton Road, at around 6pm on Thursday November 14.
Officers confirmed the pedestrian was taken to James Cook University Hospital with 'serious spinal injuries'.
A spokesperson from Cleveland Police said: "Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage or CCTV footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact PC Paul Dale from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 195811."
