ALL the candidates standing in County Durham at next month's general election have been announced.

The full list of candidates standing for election in the county's six constituencies are as follows:

Bishop Auckland Constituency: Nicholas Alan Brown, Brexit Party; Dehenna Sheridan Davison, The Conservative and Unionist Party; Ray Georgeson, Liberal Democrat; and Helen Catherine Goodman, Labour Party.

Easington Constituency: Clare Ambrosino, The Conservative Party; Dominic John Haney, Liberal Democrat; Julie Ann Maughan, Brexit Party; Susan McDonnell, The North Echo Party; and Grahame Mark Morris, Labour Party.

City of Durham Constituency: Jonathan Elmer, The Green Party; Mary Kelly Foy, Labour Party; Amanda Jayne Hopgood, Liberal Democrat; William Harvey Morgan, The Conservative Party; and Lesley Anne Wright, Brexit Party.

North Durham Constituency: Kevan David Jones, Labour Party; Craig Martin, Liberal Democrats; Derek  Anthony Morse, The Green Party; Ed Parson, The Conservative Party; Ken Rollings, Independent; and Peter Telford, Brexit Party.

North West Durham Constituency: Richard John Holden, The Conservative Party; David Alexander Stephen Lindsay, Independent; Michael Keith Peacock, Liberal Democrats; Laura Pidcock, Labour Party; David Rogers Sewell, The Green Party; Watts Stelling, Independent, and John Wolstenholme, Brexit Party.

Sedgefield Constituency: David Richard Bull, Brexit Party; John Charles Furness, The Green Party; Paul Howell, The Conservative Party; Michael Anthony Joyce, Inpdendent; Dawn Elizabeth Welsh, Liberal Democrat; and Philip Wilson, Labour Party.

The general election poll will be taken on Thursday, December 12.
