A PAIR of men have been charged after a stop and search resulted in a lock knife being recovered on Wednesday.
The men, a 30-year-old and 35-year-old, were arrested and later charged after police carried out a stop check on Station Lane in Hartlepool at around 12.20pm.
The men were charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and are expected to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court in due course.
