A CRASH during rush hour near to a primary school led to a driver of one vehicle hospitalised.
The crash, which happened at around 5.18pm on Tuesday (November 12), took place near to Pallister Park Primary School in Middlesbrough.
A Ford Fiesta and a BMW X3 became involved in a collision on Homerton Road, which resulted in the driver of the Ford suffering head injuries.
On Wednesday, police said the driver had been taken to hospital for the treatment of injuries.
The road remained closed for some time to allow the emergency services attend the scene.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service said a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
