A SUSPECTED letter-box thief has been arrested after a number of incidents on a Teesside street were reported last night.
The 38-year-old man, who remains in police custody, was arrested in connection with incidents on Sidlaw Road in Billingham, near Stockton.
It is believed the man was seen putting his arm through letterboxes at homes on the street, before officers made the arrest shortly after.
The man was arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling and theft.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said enquiries into the 38-year-old's actions are currently ongoing.
