POLICE are appealing for information following a burglary in Reeth Moor Close in Darlington.
The incident occurred between 9.30pm and 10pm on Sunday, October 13.
It is believed the suspect entered the address through the patio door and once inside made his way to the kitchen where he came face to face with the victim.
The elderly woman ran out of the house in fear while the suspect also made off through the front gate.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call PC Weighill on 101 quoting incident number 389 of October 13.
