A TEENAGER was punched in the face and pushed into the pond in a busy part of Scarborough yesterday afternoon.
The 19-year-old woman was in West Square, near to the rail station, between 4pm and 5pm when she was assaulted.
A 28-year-old man was arrested and has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
Police are asking for the public’s help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
