A GIANT of a pantomime is coming to Darlington Hippodrome this Christmas, and one lucky family is going to win free tickets to the biggest show around.

This year’s magical Darlington Hippodrome panto is Jack and the Beanstalk, and you can win a family ticket by answering one easy question!

The spectacular production will star Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas as Mother Nature, Britain’s Got Talent Winner George Sampson as Jack Trot, stand-up comedian Phil Walker as Simon Trot, and comedy writer Daniel Taylor as wicked villain Fleshcreep.

Darlington Hippodrome Programming and Development Director Heather Tarran-Jones said: “Strictly Come Dancing is one of the most popular programmes on television, so who better to star in Darlington’s best pantomime than head judge Shirley Ballas?

“I’m sure Darlington audiences will be as excited as we are to see Shirley tripping the light fantastic on the Hippodrome stage, joined by another fabulous dancer and BGT winner George Sampson, funny man Phil Walker, and actor Daniel Taylor.”

The panto will open on Friday, December 6, and run until Sunday, January 5. For a full list of performances, or to book tickets, visit www.darlingtonhippodrome.co.uk, or call the box office on 01325 405 405.

Special accessible performances will also be staged throughout the run, including a relaxed performance, when lighting and sound levels will be adjusted to create a more comfortable environment for autistic people, and for those with other additional needs.
