CAR has flipped over after a crash with a bin wagon at Hamsterley Mill in north Durham.
A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the scene of a collision between a bin wagon and a car at Hamsterley Mill at 11.50am on Thursday.
"The car has flipped over as a result of the collision. Thankfully nobody has suffered serious injuries.
The road was closed for a period on the B6310 Medomsley Bank to Burnopfield road, from the junction with Parklands to allow for recovery of the vehicles.
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service said: "We were called to the scene of a road traffic accident at Hamsterley Mill at 11.55am.
"We dispatched a double-crew ambulance and a Hart vehicle. We transported one patient to the University Hospital of North Durham."
