POLICE have arrested a further two people in connection with a fatal incident on Yarm Road in Stockton.

A woman died following an incident at around 11pm on Friday, September 27 when it is believed she spoke to the occupants of a vehicle near to Northcote Street.

Initially, two men aged 18 and 24 were arrested in connection with the incident and Cleveland Police confirmed today that they have arrested a further two men aged 17 and 18.

All four have been released under investigation pending further enquiries. The woman’s death is currently being treated as unexplained.

At the time of the incident, a Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "It is believed a woman was speaking to occupants of a vehicle.

"The woman aged in her 40s was taken to hospital soon after and sadly died on Saturday September 28."
