FAMILIES affected by young sudden cardiac death took to the streets for the 10th annual CRY Durham Walk.
Supporters of the charity, which works to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death, walked an 8km circular route, starting and finishing at Durham Amateur Rowing Club yesterday.
Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions.
CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families affected by young sudden death syndrome.
