A BOY was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Scorton, North Yorkshire, this morning.
North Yorkshire Police confirmed that they were called to Hospital Road in Scorton at 8.05am to a report of a collision involving a boy and a Ford Fiesta car.
A spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene, as did the ambulance service.
"The boy was taken to hospital by ambulance with a suspected broken leg."
