A WOMAN who went missing overnight has been found, The Northern Echo understands.
Police had appealed for help to locate Diane Blake from Ouston, near Chester-le-Street, after the 56-year-old left her home address at around 11.30pm on Sunday night.
Durham Police launched a search and called for help from Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team, which deployed volunteers and search dogs from Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team and Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team.
A spokesperson for the Teesdale and Weardale team said that the missing person they were looking for was located outside of the search area shortly after 5am.
