A BODY has been found in the search for a missing man.
Officers have been searching for Dean Langley, from Bournmoor, near Chester-le-Street, since he was reported as missing last night.
The 26-year-old was last seen in Bournmoor at about 7.25pm.
A body was found in County Durham today.
A police spokesperson said: "A public appeal to locate him was issued earlier this morning to try and bring him home.
"But sadly police found a body of a man in County Durham earlier this morning and, although formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be Dean.
"Officers are currently supporting his family at this difficult time and a report will be prepared for the coroner in due course."
