THE details of a man, who police believe is now in Turkey, have been released following a series of high-value frauds carried out over several months.
Police investigating 23-year-old Aykut Baskal, who may have links to Newcastle and York, said the man is wanted for fraud by false representation in connection with a number of frauds between January 2014 and December 2015.
Baskal, who is known as 'Turkinator' is also wanted for Computer Misuse Act offences and for failing to appear at York Crown Court on August 18, 2017.
Police said they believed Baskal was managing an Istanbul-based 'League of Legends' e-sports team in Turkey.
We have mutually parted ways with our League of Legends head coach, Turkinator, whom we started the TCL 2019 winter split with. This decision was effective as of August 26th.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said Baskal was now being urged to contact police in the UK and to hand himself in.
Anyone with any information about Baskal’s whereabouts is asked to contact Sergeant Gavin Mayes of the North Yorkshire Police Cybercrime Unit.
In the UK call the non-emergency number on 101 and ask for North Yorkshire Police, or from Turkey call 00 44 1904 618691 or email gavin.mayes@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
