A ROAD in Darlington was sealed off on Monday after a driver lost control and hit three parked cars before flipping an Audi on to its side.
Shocked residents described hearing a huge crash as the Audi careered into the cars on Victoria Embankment.
The driver had to be cut free from the car by firefighters. He is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
One person is believed to have been arrested in connection with the incident.
One of the parked cars was shunted down the road by the force of the collision, and suffered damage to its front wheel.
The Audi is currently being cleared from the scene by recovery specialist
