COMMUTERS into Middlesbrough faced delays this morning following the closure of Newport Bridge.
Cleveland Police confirmed the bridge was closed in both directions due to a police incident. It has now reopened.
Stagecoach Services 1, 13, 34 were all diverted via the A66 and A19.
