THE heartbroken family of a man who died following an incident at a pub on Tuesday have said they will "cherish the memories we made together".
Antony Robinson, 49, from Thornaby died following the incident at The Roundel pub on Mitchell Avenue in Thornaby.
His family said today: “Antony was a much-loved dad, brother, granddad and son.
“We will all remember Antony for his kindness and love of his family and we will cherish the memories we made together. He will be dearly missed by us all.
“At the moment our family is supporting each other to get through this difficult time and we would request privacy to enable us to grieve.”
Earlier today, Cleveland Police confirmed a 37-year-old man had been charged with manslaughter following the incident. He will appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today.
A 18-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the incident has been released with no further action.
