A WOMAN is being sought by police in connection with a pub assault.
A victim in her 50s was left with a bust lip requiring stitches after an attack in The Whistle Blower pub, in Front Street, Consett.
The attack happened on Saturday, August 2, at about 9pm.
Police have released a CCTV image of a woman believed to be involved in the incident.
She is described as being white, of plump build, around 5ft 4 tall, and aged in her 40s.
She was seen wearing black trousers, a black jacket and an orange blouse.
Anyone with information is asked to call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 0509 of August 2.
