A BIKER and passenger have suffered serious injuries following a crash at the Winston crossroads on the A67 between Barnard Castle and Darlington.
The crash happened shortly before 6.30pm on Thursday night (September 5) and involved a Citroen C3 and a Suzuki GSX 1400 motorcycle.
It is believed the Citroen was pulling onto the A67 when the motorcycle approached from the west on the A67 and collided with the vehicle.

Both the rider and passenger of the vehicle were taken to James Cook Hospital with serious injuries.
Anyone who may have seen the motorcycle prior to the collision or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to contact PC Dixon, from the Road Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference number 285 of August 5.
