A TEENAGER who died following a motorbike crash at the weekend has been named as Logan Soakell.
The collision happened on Haswell Front Street, near Peterlee, shortly before 8.30pm on Friday night.
The motorcycle carrying the rider and pillion passenger left the B1280 at Salter’s Lane before colliding with a telegraph pole.
Mr Soakell, 19, who is believed to be riding the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second man, who is believed to be the pillion passenger remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage is asked to contact Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident reference 426 of September 6.
