Firefighters were called out to Tudhoe
A FIRE investigation is underway after multiple bales of straw were set alight.
A crew from Spennymoor was called to the fire in Tudhoe Village on Thursday night.
Firefighters used a hose reel and wild fire equipment to extinguish the blaze.
A spokesman for County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service said: "The cause is unknown however if you have any information in relation to this incident please call Firestoppers on 0800-169-5558.
