POLICE are urging members of the public to assist them in their search for a man following the death of a 30-year-old man.

Officers investigating the death of Liam Lincoln, who became unwell on Sunday, August 25, said they were looking for a man, believed to have been in Che Bar.

A CCTV image suggests the man was last seen on Stockton High Street on the evening of Sunday, August 25 and Monday, August 26.

Police said they wished to speak to him in case he was able to help them with their enquiries into Mr Lincoln's death.

Two men 20 and 22 were arrested in connection with the incident, but both have since been released under investigation.

A postmortem was held on Tuesday, August 27 however further tests are being carried out.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Anyone with information regarding the identity of the man is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Shaun Jackson from Stockton CID on the non-emergency number 101."
