THREE men have been arrested after a quantity of drugs and cash were seized in Redcar.
Officers from Cleveland Police seized a quantity of suspected class A drugs and approximately £1,000 in cash after stopping a vehicle on Station Road on Tuesday morning.
A force spokeswoman said: "The three men aged 52, 29 and 28 were arrested on suspicion of intent to supply class A drugs and money laundering.
"They have now been released under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing.
"This is part of Cleveland Police’s Operation Phoenix; a summer long operation to improve public service, help vulnerable people, tackle serious violence and prevent crime."
